[Yus blood group antigens]
[Yussef antigen]. This very low frequency blood group antigen is located on glycophorin C and is caused by a small deletion that corresponds to exon 2 of the glycophorin C gene (Chang et al, 1991).
In the nomenclature of CD antigens this protein has been given the designation CD236R.
