Now that I have started to collect semantic masterpieces from original publications, just for the fun of it, let me share them with you. And if it is only to demonstrate the intricacies of nomenclature and the hard life a newcomer can have (not to mention the lexicographer, of course). I alluded to these problems already in my foreword (see: some personal remarks), and the problem itself is not new, and nothing seems to have changed over the years (Pearson, 2001).
