[Wb blood group antigens]
[Webb blood group antigen] The low incidence Wb blood group antigen (Simmons and Albrey, 1963) resides on glycophorin C and glycophorin D and is due to point mutations in the glycophorin C gene (Reid et al, 1985; Reid and Spring, 1994).
In the nomenclature of CD antigens the protein has been given the designation CD236.
