QA79 membrane protein

[QA79]

QA79 is an IgG1 monoclonal antibody obtained by immunizing a 5-week-old BALB/c mouse with the NK-cell clone LM5 (surface phenotype: CD3(-), CD16(+), CD56(+), NKp46(+), NKp44(+), p140(+), CD94(+)). The antibody reacts with cells expressing an AIRM1 construct (Vitale et al, 1999).

In the nomenclature of CD antigens this protein has been given the designation CD328. The protein is known also as AIRM1 [adhesion inhibitory receptor molecule 1], SIGLEC-7, or D-SIGLEC.
