[Monocyte inhibitory receptor HM43] The cDNA encoding a member of the Ig superfamily containing an ITIM sequence has been cloned by Arm et al (1997). The same gene has been cloned by Colonna et al (1997) who called it ILT6. Borges et al (1997) have cloned the same gene, which they called LIR4.

The protein is an inhibitory receptor for MHC class I molecules on human lymphoid cells and myelomonocytic cells. The protein has been renamed LILRA3 [leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily A member 3] and, in the nomenclature of ... ... ... ...
