NKI-C3
name of a monoclonal antibody produced against a purified membrane preparation of human melanoma cells. The antigen is expressed on melanoma cells, slightly on melanocytes, and is expressed also on Langerhans cells (Vennegor et al, 1985, Van Duinen et al, 1984). Demetrick et al (1992) have reported that this antigen is identical to CD63.
