[interleukin-4 receptor] This is the approved gene symbol for the receptor for IL4. The designation IL4RA [interleukin-4 receptor-alpha; IL4R-alpha] refers to the alpha subunit of the dimeric IL4 receptor. In the nomenclature of CD antigens this subunit has been given the designation CD124.
