[IL2 receptor-gamma, interleukin-2 receptor-gamma, IL2R-gamma] This is the approved gene symbol for a receptor subunit for IL2, termed common gamma, which is part also of receptors of other interleukins such as IL4, IL7, IL9, IL15, IL21. In the nomenclature of CD antigens the protein has been given the designation CD132.
