ECMR-3
[Extracellular matrix receptor-3; class 3 ECMR] ECMR-3 has been identified as a heterogeneous 90 kDa membrane glycoprotein that binds to collagen type 1 and collagen type 6. The protein is present in detergent extracts of human fibrosarcoma cells (HT1080 cells) (Wayner and Carter, 1987; Carter and Wayner, 1988). Monoclonal antibodies against this protein detect the antigen in many nucleated cells, including lymphoid cells, myeloid cells, epithelial cells, glial cells, fibroblasts.
