also: DO blood group. This blood group antigen is characterized by two antigenic variants, termed Do(a) and Do(b). The Dombrock blood group antigen has been shown to be encoded by the ART4 [ADP ribosyltransferase 4; Ecto-ADP-ribosyltransferase 4] gene.
