Cerebral Peptide 1
abbr. CP1. This peptide, FSGLMSEGSSLEA (Phares and Lloyd, 1996) is a modulatory neuropeptide in the sea slug Aplysia californica. Individual cerebral neurons synthesize both Cerebral Peptide 1 and Cerebral Peptide 2]. In other ganglia, these two peptides are localized predominantly to different neurons (Phares and Lloyd, 1996).
