In the nomenclature of CD antigens this designation has been given to the FCRL3 [Fc receptor-like-3] receptor (Matesanz-Isabel J et al, 2011). The cDNA has been cloned by Davis et al, who termed it FCRH3 [Fc receptor homolog 3]. The protein has been identified independently as IRTA3 [Immune receptor translocation-associated protein 3] and SPAP2 [SH2 domain-containing phosphatase anchor protein-2]. A databank synonym for this protein is IFGP3 [IFGP family protein 3].
