Gasdermins are a family of pore-forming proteins comprising GSDMA [gasdermin A] , GSDMB [gasdermin B], GSDMC [gasdermin C] , and GSDMD [gasdermin D], GSDME [gasdermin E] (for overview see: Ding et al, 2016; Kovacs and Miao, 2017; Qiu S et al, 2017).
