GSDMB

(approved gene symbol) [gasdermin B] GSDMB is a member of the family of gasdermins. The gene has been identified by Tamura et al (2007) and, on the basis of sequence homology with GSDMA, by Katoh and Katoh (2004) who referred to it as GSDML [gasdermin-like]. The protein exists in different splice variants, but their exact function is not known (Sun et al, 2008; Carl-McGrath et al, 2008; Cardamone et al, 2017).
