NLRP6 inflammasome

[NLRP6 inflammasomes]

The NLRP6 inflammasome is one of several molecular assemblies known as inflammasome, which can process the precursor of IL1-beta and/or IL18. It is composed of NLRP6 (a member of the NLR family), the molecular adapter ASC, and caspase-1 (Kempster et al, 2011).
