NLRP11

[NLR family, pyrin-domain containing 11] This is the approved gene symbol for a protein that has been named NALP11 [NACHT-LRR-PYD-containing protein-11; NACHT domain Leucine-rich repeat and PYD-containing protein 11] (Tschopp et al, 2003, and NOD17 (Inohara and Nuñez, 2003). In some databanks the protein is being referred to also as PYPAF6 [Pyrin-containing APAF-1-like protein 6] and PAN10 [PAAD and NACHT-containing protein 10]. NLRP11 is a member of the CLR family (NLR family) and is being referred to also as CLR19.6. NLRP11 is a primate-specific gene (Tian X et al, 2009).
