[LGR6(+), LGR6(-)]
(approved gene symbol) [leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein-coupled receptor 6] The cDNA has been cloned by Hsu et al (2000). The deduced 846-amino acid LGR6 protein is approximately 46 % identical to LGR4 and LGR5. The protein contains multiple N-terminal leucine-rich repeats.
De Lau et al (2011) have shown that LGR6 can act as a receptor for R-spondin-1, R-spondin-2, R-spondin-3, and R-spondin-4.
Gong et al (2012) have reported that LGR6 is a high-affinity receptor for R-spondin-1, R-spondin-2, R-spondin-3
