[ILT1(+), ILT1(-), ILT1(high), ILT1(low)]
[immunoglobulin-like transcript 1] The gene encoding this protein has been cloned as cDNA by Samaridis and Colonna (1997). The approved gene symbol is LILRA2 [leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily A member 2]. The gene has been cloned independently as LIR7 [leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor 7].
ILT1 encodes transmembrane protein of a 466 amino acids. The intracellular domain does not contain an TIM motif as is found in several other members of the ILT family (see also: CD85).
