IL10 family
Name sometimes used for members of a family of cytokines structurally related to IL10. This family includes MDA-7 (IL24), IL19, IL20, IL-TIF (IL22), IL24, and AK155 (IL26) (Sabat et al, 2010; Zdanov et al, 2004; Kotenko et al, 2002; Fickenscher et al, 2002; Dumoutier et al, 2002). MDA-7, IL19 and IL20 form a subfamily within the IL10 family, based on conserved amino acid sequences, and on the use of shared receptor complexes.
None of these factors mimics IL10 activities but the factors are involved in inflammatory processes
