FGFR4

[FGF receptor type 4, FGF receptor 4]

[fibroblast growth factor receptor-4] This receptor has been identified by Partanen et al (1991) Splice variants have been described by Takaishi et al (2000). The receptor is known also as TKF [tyrosine kinase-related to fibroblast growth factor receptor], or JTK2. In the nomenclature of CD antigens the receptor has been given the designation CD334. See also: Fibroblast growth factor binding proteins.

Ron et al (1993) have reported that FGFR4 is a high-affinity receptor for aFGF and bFGF but does not bind KGF. Vainikka et al (1992) have reported that FGFR4 shows highest affinity for aFGF, followed by ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
