EL4-BCGF

[EL4 B-cell growth factor] This B-cell growth factor co-stimulates anti-IgM-stimulated splenic B-cells. It is isolated from the conditioned medium of phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA)-stimulated EL4 cells (see also: Phorbol esters).

EL4-BCGF is identical with BCGF-1. Both factors are identical with IL4. See also: BCGF (B-cell growth factor).
