collectin receptor

The name collectins has been proposed as a collective term for the ligands of the C1q receptor (mannose-binding protein, conglutinin, SP-A [surfactant protein A]) that bind to the C1q receptor (Malhotra R et al, 1992). The collectin receptor, in the nomenclature of CD antigens, has received the designation CD93.
