Also: lactoglobulin-beta(32-40). This short peptide (DAQSAPLR) is obtained from bovine beta-lactoglobulin by proteolytic digestion. The peptide is an inhibitor of angiotensin-1 converting enzyme (CD143) (Pihlanto-Leppälä et al, 2000). See also: lactokinins. See also cryptides for bioactive fragments of parent proteins.
