RLRs
[RIG-I-like receptors; retinoic acid inducible gene-I-like receptors] These receptors comprise RIG-I, MDA-5, and LGP2 and function as pattern recognition receptors in the cytoplasm that initiate innate immune responses against RNA virus infections and also processed self RNAs (Szabo and Rajnavolgyi, 2013; Zinzula and Tramontano, 2013; Schlee M, 2013). RLRs have been shown to be conserved in vertebrates (Zou et al, 2009).
