[Nur-77-derived BCL2-converting peptide with 9 amino acids] This peptide with the sequence FSRSLHSLL has been derived from the nuclear receptor Nur-77 (Kolluri SK et al, 2008). The sequence corresponds to a short region - Nur-77(489-497) - within amino acids Nur-77(480-499), termed NuBCP-20 (GDWIDSILAFSRSLHSLLVD), which interact with the anti-apoptotic protein BCL2. NuBCP-20 is a potent inducer of cell death by apoptosis in various cancer cell lines, being more potent than a BH3 peptide
