Nrh

Phylogenetic analyses suggest that human Nrh (human NR-13), murine Diva (BOO) and Quail NR-13 are orthologous genes. The Nrh gene is expressed preferentially in the lungs, the liver and the kidneys. Nrh preferentially associates with the apoptosis accelerator BCLxS and behaves as an inhibitor of apoptosis in yeast and vertebrate cells.
