NLRP13
[NLR family, pyrin-domain containing 13] This is the approved gene symbol for a protein described as NALP13 [NACHT-LRR-PYD-containing protein-13] (Tschopp et al, 2003), and NOD14 [Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain protein 14]. A databank alias is PAN13 [PAAD and NACHT-containing protein 13]. The protein is a member of the CLR family (NLR family) and is being referred to also as CLR19.7.
Tian et al (2009) have reported that NLRP13 is universal in mammals except for rodents where it may have been lost during evolution.
