MNCC-SEA

[mouse neutrophil chemotactic component induced by staphylococcal enterotoxin type A] This biochemically uncharacterized factor (> 100 kDa) is found in the conditioned medium of murine macrophage monolayers treated with staphylococcal enterotoxin type A (SEA). MNCC-SEA is chemotactic for neutrophils. Release of the factor by macrophages is inhibited by dexamethasone.
