[Lymphotactin] abbr. also: Lptn. The cDNA encoding Lymphotactin has been identified by Kelner GS et al (1994) in a cDNA library generated from activated mouse pro-T-cells. Lymphotactin is similar to members of both the CC-Chemokines and CXC-Chemokines but lacks two of the four cysteine residues that are characteristic of these chemokines.
