FAF

[Fibroblast activating factor] This is an operational definition of biological activities, secreted by various cells, which cause cell activation of fibroblasts. One distinct factor with FAF activity, described as fibroblast activating factor and fibroblast modulatory activity, is identical with IL1. Some factors with FAF activities may be related to IL1.

Another factor with FAF activity is produced by monocytes. This factor is called FAF-M. It is a biochemically uncharacterized 38 kDa protein which is not identical with IL1.

Another factor with FAF activity is found in the conditioned medium of U937 ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
