Dekafins
[Dekafin]
Dekafin peptides constitute a family of short peptides with sequence homology to the first NCAM FN3 module and a sequence motif located in the beta-10-beta-11 loop regions of all fibroblast growth factors with the exception of FGF19, FGF21, FGF22, and FGF23 (in human). Like hexafins and canofins, these peptides act as FGF mimetic peptides.
Dekafin-1 from aFGF (FGF1) is WFVGLKKNGSCKRG and corresponds to FGF1(122-136)
