[discoidin domain receptor] this is an older designation for a tyrosine kinase identified in breast cancer cells (Johnson et al, 1993). The kinase has been renamed DDR1 [discoidin domain receptor 1], following the identification of DDR2 [discoidin domain receptor 2]. In the nomenclature of CD antigens this receptor has been given the designation CD167a.
