[cytokine receptor-like molecule-2; cytokine receptor-like 2] This protein of 371 amino acids has been isolated from a cDNA library obtained from human dendritic cells (Zhang et al, 2001). It is a member of the Type 1 cytokine receptor family. The protein does not contain a WSXWS motif found in other members of this family but a WAS-like sequence motif. CRL2 protein shares significant homology with common gamma and the IL13 receptor-alpha-1 chain. The protein has been described independently as CRLF2. The ligand for this receptor has been identified by Reche et al (2001) as TSLP.
