[chemokine-like receptor 1] The cDNA for this GPR [G-protein-coupled receptor] has been isolated by Gantz et al (1996) by PCR of genomic DNA with degenerate primers based on the conserved regions of somatostatin receptors. The mouse ortholog of the receptor has been isolated as Dez (Methner et al, 1997). The receptor is the same as ChemR23. Multiple transcript of this receptor are expressed in all tissues examined.
The receptor is structurally related to receptors for chemoattractant molecules, such as formyl peptides (FPR1, FPR2, and FPR3
