CD84

[CD84(+), CD84(-)]

Other designations:

CDe84 (Engel and Tedder, 1994)

Ly9b

MAX.3 antigen

SLAMF5 [signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family member 5] [SLAM family member 5]

The antigen is a member of the CD2 family.

The antigen is expressed on monocytes, platelets, circulating B-cells, thymocytes, and subsets of T-cells (Krause et al, 2000; Martin et al, 2001).

CD84 is expressed as a single-chain cell surface glycoprotein of 64-82 kDa, which is highly glycosylated (de la Fuente et al, 1997). CD84 contains an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based switch motif ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
