[CD28 homolog] This designation is used for a protein identified as IGPR-1 [immunoglobulin-containing and proline-rich receptor-1] and implicated in angiogenesis. The approved gene symbol is TMIGD2 [transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain containing 2]. CD28H plays a role in T-cell functions as a costimulatory or coinhibitory molecule by its interaction with B7-H7 [B7 homolog-7].
