[BNIP similar] This protein is the same as BNIPL2 [BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kDa protein interacting protein-2-like-2]. The protein is related to human BNIP2 and is a member of a protein family interacting with Adenovirus E1B 19 kDa protein. Qin et al (2003) have shown that the protein interacts with BCL2.
