The monoclonal antibody 114/A10 has been raised against the murine multipotential hemopoietic progenitor cell line B6SUtA. It identifies an integral membrane antigen expressed highly by primary myeloid progenitor cells, the myelomonocytic leukemia cell line WEHI-3B, and various factor-dependent cell lines requiring IL3 for growth. The 114/A10 antigen has a mean relative molecular mass of 150 kDa but varies greatly in size range between different cell types (Dougherty et al, 1989).
In the nomenclature of CD antigens this protein has been given the designation CD157.
