Lactosylceramide (Beta-Gal-(1-4)-beta-Glc-(1-1)-Cer; Gal beta 1,4Glc beta 1,1Cer; Galbeta4Glcbeta1Cer)) is a glycosphingolipid known also CDH [Ceramide dihexoside], dihexosylceramide, Cytolipin H in older references. Lactosylceramide is a ubiquitous glycosphingolipid in mammalian tissues.
