cydiastatins

These peptides have been isolated and identified from the codling moth, Cydia pomonella (Tortricidae) (Duve et al, 1997). The peptides are related to allatostatins and callatostatins and share a common C-terminal amino acid sequence, YXFGLamide. At least two of the peptides are identical with allatotropin from Manduca sexta (Utz et al, 2007).
