Also: lactoglobulin-beta(55-60) (EILLQK; Glu-Ile-Leu-Leu-Gln-Lys). This short peptide is obtained from bovine beta-lactoglobulin by proteolytic digestion. Jacquot et al (2010) have reported that the synthetic peptide also stimulates proliferation of murine splenocytes and modulates cytokine secretion, demonstrating a potential influence on immune responses.
