Trissin
Trissin (IKCDTCGKECASACGTKHFRTCCFNYL), encoded by gene CG14871, is a neuropeptide of unknown function identified in Drosophila melanogaster (Ida et al, 2011). Trissin is an endogenous ligand of the Drosophila orphan G-protein-coupled receptor encoded by gene CG34381. Trissin and its receptor are expressed predominantly in the brain and thoracicoabdominal ganglion.
