[regulated by nitric oxide] This gene has been identified in a search for gene expressed differentially in a leukemia cell line treated with nitric oxide (Shami et al, 2001). The cDNA encodes a protein that is identical with PYPAF7 [Pyrin-containing APAF-1-like protein 7]. Transcripts are found also in polymorphonuclear cells and monocytes.
