PVR

[poliovirus receptor] The poliovirus receptor is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Originally the gene had been designated PVS [Poliovirus Sensitivity] (Siddique et al, 1988). In the nomenclature of CD antigens the designation is CD155. The receptor has been renamed HveD [Herpesvirus entry mediator D].
