NT-7

[neurotrophin-7] NT-7 is a member of the protein family known as neurotrophins and was isolated from the zebrafish Danio rerio. The amino acid sequence of this factor (abbr. zNT-7) is related closely to that of fish NGF and NT-6 (approximately 65 % identity). Recombinant NT-7 binds to the human p75 neurotrophin receptor and induces tyrosine phosphorylation of the rat trkA receptor tyrosine kinase.
