[neuropeptide Y receptor-like] The cDNA for this receptor for neuropeptide Y has been identified by Rimland et al (1991) from bovine tissues. The human receptor is known also as NPY3R [neuropeptide Y receptor Y3] (Herzog et al, 1993). Herzog et al (1993) and Jazin et al (1993) have shown that the receptor does not bind neuropeptide Y. see: CXCR4. See also: Chemokines. New designation: CD184
