[Nonspecific cross-reacting antigen 160 kDa] one of the nonspecific cross-reacting antigens found to be expressed on a variety of cell types. In the nomenclature of CD antigens this protein has been given the designation CD66a.
Mahrenholz et al (1993) have reported that NCA-160 is identical with Biliary glycoprotein 1 (BGP-1). NCA-160 has been shown to express the fucosylated carbohydrate moiety associated with the CD15 antigen (Mahrenholz et al, 1993; Stocks et al, 1990).
