Mi15

The monoclonal antibody of this name recognizes the cell surface antigen CD138. Gattei et al (1999) have investigated the reactivity of Mi15. Mi15 recognizes both the intact molecule and the core protein of Syndecan-1. It shows a comparable reactivity in flow cytometry and immunoblotting with antibodies 1D4 and B-B4. All three antibodies appear to recognize the same or closely related epitopes of Syndecan-1.
