Name of a marketed complex preparation of human cytokines from the first phase of the immune response, containing 10,000 IU of natural IFN-alpha and other cytokines at their natural ratio, mainly IL6, IL12, TNF-alpha, MIF, and LIF. The preparation is obtained from donor's blood leukocytes.
The preparation appears to be used predominantly in Russia (all pertinent articles in MedLine are in Russion) as an immunomodulatory agent in the treatment of a variety of viral and bacterial infections and oncological diseases.
