LGP120

[lysosomal glycoprotein 120] This protein has been identified as an acidic, heavily glycosylated membrane protein enriched in the lysosomal membrane (Lewis et al, 1985). The protein sequence has been described by Howe et al (1988). The protein is now known as LAMP-1 [lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein-1]. In the nomenclature of CD antigen this protein has been given the designation CD107a.
